There's an awful lot in this video on how the woman can accommodate the man. You need to watch that. Also, be careful with the talk on him "checking" her. It's getting a bit infantilizing, and the woman is a grown-ass adult, and the man can also be dick and need correcting. Ultimately, the healthiest way to see this is that within the realm of equality, the man and the woman serve each other, but in different ways: she surrenders and supports, and he leads as in acts of service. Now, this should not be taken to ridiculous extents and become legalistic since there are times she needs to lead and he needs to support.

She's right, society does not value our feminine gifts (outside of sex). We need society to be more in balance between the feminine energy and the masculine energy, but then we get these weak men shrieking that society is becoming weak and feminized. Conservative religion is a large part of valuing masculinity and devaluing femininity unless it's in the bed or in the home.

It’s usually because you can’t trust the man. Often women starts to healthily explain their boundaries to their partner, but if they do it again and again. She starts to get controlling. The right thing would be to put boundaries and let the man show you who he really is. Can he meet the standards of integrity? of selflessness, of respecting you and caring for you instead of neglecting you and your needs? More men needs to be taught how to be actual leaders. And create a safe enough space for their women to surrender and be feminine.

Most of these abandonment wounds are pre verbal and somatic. Accessing these states from the limbic brain. So physical healing is the first step. Cleaning the body of toxins. The emotional body will be accessed through feeling emotions. Somatic psychedelic therapy helps. The body keeps the score.. healing takes a lot of patience and compassion. I find it is not a linear path and it takes enduring effort and a lot of awareness. John Bradshaw’s work has been really helpful. Grieving the childhood and parents I never received.
